I have no idea what today's date is. Yesterday though, we had an amazing day full of provincal things. The morning we did "la grasse matinee" or slept in. Then we got ready and took a bus to les Calanques, which is an entire coast of France of amazing cliffs. We (John, me, and a couple we know from BYU passing through Marseille) had a good time cliff jumping and baking on the rocks. After I got fried enough, we headed back to Marseille and got dressed to hit the town. We took a short train to Aix-en-Provence just north of us. I have heard a lot about the town, though I realized when I got there that there wasn't anything in particular to see. The was was well kept, pretty, and tons of restuarants everywhere. We had to choose among 100, but we chose well. For a good price, we ate a 3 course meal of provencal vegetables, salad, steak and lemon meringue pie. We sat on the street, enjoying the nice weather, and the whole process took an hour and a half. It was perfect.
