Dynamic!

I saw a woman today that is mostly blind and mostly deaf, which is normal because she is 103 years old! But she still sang and danced a little bit with us. What a special kind of woman, to be able to maintain such energy at this age. Imagine all that she has seen. . .

Another woman I saw is such a great story teller. She sat in her chair as she told the story almost at a whisper. I was fixed on her way of telling, pausing to think, and using her hands. I felt like I was at the feet of a grandmother who knew just the right way to tell the tale. This story was about her pet stuffed animals, Lou Lou and See See, and their marriage and how she snuggles with them at night when she has a hard time sleeping. She also has a giant panda bear named Li Li, and she loved the fact that I also slept with a giant panda stuffed animal.
