When eating with family friends last weekend, I noticed something quite typical of the human race. We were making crêpes salées, smothered in mayo, cheese, and sliced turkey. French people love mayo (pourtant c'est une invention française). When husband asked wife if she wanted one, she said yes. "What about your diet?" Of course, the diet started tomorrow. What is "tomorrow?" We all have them. Maybe tomorrow is once I feel brave enough. Maye its after I feel bad enough that I will react and change. Maybe it is just a day that we secretly know will never come. In my mind, if we aren't talking about "Today," then change isn't possible. We need to rise up people, and overcome our fears of Tomorrow!
I think my tomorrow is when I have no other choice but than to react. I want my agency stripped from me - because somehow, taking a stand when there really is no other choice seems easier than doing it the first time you consider it.
Actually, I don't think "Today" even exists. If we live in the moment, we are living our tomorrow. If we live with regrets, we are only living a yesterday.
One more yesterday sans action, so will today be my tomorrow?
