most guest

i recently went to a dinner party and was asked to say the prayer. i knew i was most guest when i said the following during the prayer: "we are grateful to be gathered together as family and friend." Just one friend. Me. Most guest refers to the degrees of separation, similar to kevin bacon. We had a host, her brother (least guest), other cousins, and a marry-in. That makes him second to most guest. But still, that title is reserved for me. Funny, though, how I didn't feel at all like a guest. I guess most guest is still an honor, because hey - at least I was invited.
