The opening ceremonies: inspiring. I thought the drag/grundge/heavy metal tapping was weird, especially for Montreal. I now have a horrible stereotypical idea of EVERY Quebecois. I loved watching every country walk out, seeing how everyone looks so different. Germans have very square jaws, Scandanavians with very sharp features. The Dutch were kind of unfortunate looking. In the end, I am glad to be from the United States of Amazing, even if we hog the word "America." I refuse to be called a "United Statesian."
I also just want to point out quickly how grateful I am that we don't do these naked anymore. How messy.
